The Story of Blackhawks James Tiberius - Visiting JT

Here we are visiting Baby "James Tiberius" at 5 weeks old. He is one of eight puppies! He's very very tired right now, his other 7 brothers and sisters have already konked out and are sleeping! JT will be ready to come home from his mother's house very soon!

All the puppies were very "kissy" - and JT was no exception! JT was first to distinguish himself by being the most interested in the strangers who came to visit - and demanded our attention. He was the one who seemed to be saying "Yipee! Someone new to lick and play with! Hold me! Hold me!"

While we thought all the puppies were just terrific (a very healthy and pretty litter), Kayvan was in love with JT and Laura agreed he was very special.

Did someone say wiggly? Determined? This bundle of fur is thwarted by no one!

We were very impressed with how he was very eager to "come" when coaxed from across the room, as well as how he showed the most amount of interest when we rattled a ring of keys over the heads of all the puppies. This is one puppy that is not shy!

Here's a nice side shot of JT. He was constantly on the move and impossible to get a shot of his entire body (he'd move out of the viewfinder before you could click!) The only time he stayed even remotely still is if he was busy doing what beagles do best - snuzzle and sniff out the territory!

Meal (mush) time! Here you can see maybe six of the eight littermates. JT is the puppy walking away on the lower left hand corner of the frame - determined to move before I can get a clear shot of him! Most of the puppies were still half asleep when this food was offered - and it was time for us to go home as well. We'll be back soon to get the baby!
