My Family

Holy Family

I am the President of Sylvan Associates, Inc., a software consulting and training firm based in San Jose, California. I have been in the software industry since around 1982, and I have been operating Sylvan Associates since early 1990. You can look at my resume online.

During the Easter season of the year 2000, I was baptized Catholic in Holy Family Catholic church. It was one of the most profound experiences of my life! Especially since I got to share it with my daughter, Katherine (who was also baptized during the same rite). I am glad to talk about it. Email me!

I have a passion for Chess (ever since I was about ten years old). I play online at FICS (Free Internet Chess Server). You can browse my chess FTP area and you can also view some chess games.

Lastly, visit out our puppy pages for updates on our newest family member. For anyone considering dog ownership, I recommend beagles with the caveat that you have to be more strong-willed than the dog in order to train a good family pet. Lots of training is recommended. Just so our cat does not get jealous, I have to say that Jadzia is the best kitty in the world! She is more than 5 years old, but still very playful. :-)
