We add a patina to the black coach lamps using acrylic paints. The first layer is a dappling of "Rainforest
Green", followed by plain White for highlights.
Here are the two finished "aged" coach lamps.
Electrical wires are run through the gatorboard by simply carving out a channel and stringing the wire.
A piece of card stock creates a smooth surface to paperclay over and hide all of the electrical wiring.
At last!!! I finished paperclaying the front of the shoppe. This is my first attempt at "crazy brick"
and it is really a blast. Note that holes have been drilled, and extra wire strung through for the two coach lamps.
The start of our "copper" roof. Such humble beginnings! The template is a piece of card stock that has
been lighly scored and notched to fit the roof area. (6 hour day. Left early for doctor appointment. I have
pneumonia!!)
