Bluette and Company describes this project in the class manual as The Le Petit Lapin (French for the "Little Rabbit") has become Bluette Meloney's siganture piece because of its popularity and wide universal appeal. Reminiscent of a Dutch row house, the piece replicates an actual building in Burlingame, California. Students will finish the exterior and interior of this charming two story building in 1" scale. it may be used as a delightful showcase for the student's favorite miniature collection. Designed to be a toy shop, interpretations have included flower and pottery presentations. Size is approximately 24 1/2" high and 15 1/2" wide and 13" deep. |

The attic portion of this two story
room box can be
accessed by a sliding back panel (see small half-moon thumb hole) as
well as a removable roof (see next photo). |

Here the roof front has been removed. This roof can remain removable when the project is done so that the interior attic space acessed by both front and back, or the roof can be nailed down permanently and have only access through the back sliding panel. Note the box is just stuffed with materials from door knobs to brick wallpaper to 3 different doors and more. |

All the interior bookcase pieces were aleady hand made, we just had to paint and get them ready for intallation. |

Brick wallpaper by Barrow, located in England. Made of fiberglass backing, so need to be careful as the tiny fibers can itch (wear gloves?). A wonderful pattern was given to the whole class to take the guesswork out of it! |

A bunch of resin pieces made specifically for our class. |
