Using 1/32 charting tape and the spackling, we will create a tile front for the fireplace. Charting tape was bought
at a College art store, not the easiest thing to find. The spackle compound was laid out, light stippling, then
peel up the charting tape before the spackle starts to set. |

Installing the outdoor scene with YES glue. At this point, major pieces are falling together quickly. |
 |
Shot of the installed firebox and back plate. |

Ceiling beams glued into the finished roof. |

Our removeable attic floor. This was a jigsaw puzzle for those with functioning IQs at this point, which mine
was no longer. But, everyone manages! |
 |
Attic floor in place. This is one of the most satisfying moments so far! |

Overhead view of the room. The rusted "iron" beam through the center is not structural in this piece,
but would have been in a life sized version of this building. We made this beam with a plastic piece - painted
it with a paint that turned into a dark grey iron substance and rusted it with yet another product. Will need to
find the name of the products! |

A shot of the indirect lighting (2 bulbs). A final 12 hour day - but complete the project is complete!!!

all of us for the week and being a such a warm, generous hostess! |
